The Director, Consumer Strategy is constantly innovating the insight development process at Initiative. This person is able to introduce new methods of data collection and insight genesis to the team and the agency at large. A successful Director, Consumer Strategy is not only aware of new techniques being performed and where best to integrate them but is also capable of managing the needs of some of the agency’s largest clients.
Over 10 years of work experience, with a combination of insight development, research acumen, and account management.
Act as the primary senior interface with clients to understand needs, identify goals, and distill initial sales discovery efforts into Statement of Work proposals. Lead and manage the fulfillment of SOW’s with a team of strategists, account managers, editorial staff, and creatives and ensures overall client satisfaction. Ability to effectively delegate and manage cross-functional team in both New York and Los Angeles.
7+ years of experience in a client services role within entertainment or advertising, studio experience a plus
Develop performance digital strategy inclusive of SEM and PPC networks/lead aggregators. Provide support and recognition for your team and effectively foster teamwork that drives motivation and retention. Leads client communication and manages the overall relationship.
10+ years of relevant experience in SEM including 3+ years in a management position, agency experience preferred
